NEW YORK, NY.- Sue Scott Gallery presents a solo exhibition of work by Elisabeth Subrin, presenting the premiere of her new video installation ‘Lost Tribes and Promised Lands’ and her 2008 two-channel projection ‘Sweet Ruin’. Installed in the related project space are selected films, videos and photographic stills spanning nearly twenty years. In her complexly layered and deeply emotional work, Subrin mines the elusive intersections of history and female subjectivity in an effort to excavate and deconstruct both dominant and minor narratives.
