Bruce Museum features 2000 Years of Geography and Mapping

The Bruce
Museum
in Greenwich, Connecticut, presents the
new exhibition Writing the Earth: 2,000 Years of Geography and Mapping from
January 30 through May 2, 2010.
The exhibition features a
selection of world maps that were printed between 1511 and 1800 and are on loan
from a private collection.
The show also includes a small group of maps
from 1570 featuring the Americas. The Bruce
Museum promotes the understanding and appreciation of Art and Science to enrich
the lives of all people.
