WILLIAMSTOWN, MASS.- Williams College today announced the appointment of Christina Olsen as the Class of 1956 Director of the Williams College Museum of Art. Olsen is currently the director of education and public programs at the Portland Art Museum and previously worked at the Getty Foundation and Getty Museum. Olsen, who will begin her appointment on May 1, comes to WCMA with extensive experience in public programming, community outreach, and the incorporation of new technologies into the museum experience.
