Working exclusively in watercolor, La Mont eschews traditional watercolor techniques and styles. Her large-scale paintings are executed with incredible precision, and utilize a combination of built-up layers of bold, saturated color and meticulously rendered detail. “Under the Influence” opens on November 18th and remains on view through January 25th 2012.
