A selection of Robert Graham’s "Early Work 1963-1973" at David Zwirner in New York

NEW YORK, N.Y.- David Zwirner presents a selection of early work by Los Angeles artist Robert Graham (1938-2008), on view at 519 West 19th Street. The exhibition brings together rarely seen works that span the years 1963-1973, providing an overview and reconsideration of the artist’s initial engagement with Minimalism and figurative sculpture. In the early 1960s, while he was still attending the San Francisco Art Institute, Graham made miniature objects during idle moments as a Woolworth’s counter-salesman.
