After an autumn of Berlin shows, This is not America is focussing on New York. For the forth time, the renowned photographer Todd Weinstein (“Darkness into Light: Re-emergence of Jewish Culture in Germany”) invited students of the Berliner Technische Kunsthochschule to participate in a workshop in and on New York. The exhibition explores the myth of New York from the perspective of young photographers that concentrate on the surprisingly intimate and private moments of the metropolis.
