The Sakip Sabanci Museum in Istanbul Hosts a Historic Exhibition of Greek Cyclades Art

Istanbul.- The new exhibition of Sabanci University Sakip Sabanci Museum (SSM), entitled “Across” (Karsidan Karsiya), in which 5.000 years old finds from the Cyclades and Western Anatolia will be displayed together, hit the headlines in Greece before its inauguration. News about the exhibition has been all over Greek leading newspapers and TV channels since it was announced. The exhibition, which will open to the public on May 24, will display the interaction between the civilizations in Western Anatolia (Turkey) and Greece that date back to the 3rd Millenium BC, and by doing so, will aim to contribute to the intercultural dialogue.
