 Very few of us have had the opportunity to
experience the rich culture of Cuba by visiting the island nation.
The Katonah Museum of Art will bring some of that culture to us when it
opens Cuba Avant-Garde: Contemporary Cuban Art
from the Farber Collection, on June 27. This riveting exhibition,
which runs
through September 19, features some of the most important art to come
out of
Cuba in the past two decades. Cuba

from the Farber Collection was originated by the Samuel P.
Harn Museum at the University of Florida and is toured by Curatorial
Assistance,
Pasadena, California.
