The project was realized between May 2003 and May 2004, with support of Ontario Arts Council grant. Andrzej Maciejewski says that when he had moved from Toronto to the country, he was impressed by how much the changes of the weather became perceptible. When you are in the country, you really notice the changes of the weather and changes of the seasons he says. This inspired his project Weather Report.

He chose the frame enclosing the view of the ground and the sky – half and half – which was the best set-up to show the changing weather in full splendour. For Weather Report he built a walk-in Camera Obscura. It is about 6x6x10FT large and artist takes pictures with it while being locke
