NEW YORK, NY.- The American Academy in Rome announced that Laurie Anderson, RAAR’06, will both curate and perform at the upcoming Cabaret in New York City on October 26th. The Los Angeles Times recently called Ms. Anderson “the most important multimedia artist of our time.” Her performance at last year’s Cabaret, both as a solo artist and in collaboration with Lou Reed, was one of the evening’s highlights. Ms. Anderson’s Cabaret performance this year will be culled from a prolific new body of work.
