DALLAS, TX – The Dallas Museum of Art presents this summer the nationally acclaimed exhibition Making It New: The Art and Style of Sara and Gerald Murphy. It is an intimate look at the couple who inspired and truly lived the modernist movement. Best remembered as the captivating American “expats” who inspired F. Scott Fitzgerald’s Tender Is the Night, Sara and Gerald Murphy are for the first time being considered in a major museum exhibition as forces in their own right. On view June 1–September 14, 2008.
