Exhibition of new work by German photographer Roland Fischer at Von Lintel Gallery

NEW YORK, N.Y.- Von Lintel Gallery presents an exhibition of new photographs by German photographer Roland Fischer. The exhibition, running September 6 through October 8, 2011, features Fischer’s newest large-scale photographs of modern building facades from locales around the world including Munich, Melbourne and Mexico City. As Lyle Rexer writes in his 2009 book The Edge of Vision: The Rise of Abstraction in Photography: Like that of his contemporaries Candida Höfer and Andreas Gursky, a significant portion of Roland Fischer’s work is focused on built environment.
